Japan's NIKKO company recently issued an announcement

In mainland China, we have authorized “Double Phoenix (Nikko Company)” as an official trademark, and are marketing products in mainland China under the Double Phoenix brand.

It was used on the backstamp as one of our main trademarks from shortly after our founding in 1908 through the late 1900s.” The trademark, which means “to rise again like a phoenix,” was later adopted only for special collections and has been a very important and treasured part of our company’s history for over 100 years.
